Albion Health Care Alliance is a nonprofit based in Albion, MI and was one of the nonprofit organizations considered for an IMPACT Grant. While they were not selected as the recipient in this recent grant cycle, our grant committee was deeply impressed by their mission and the incredible impact they’re making in their community.
Though a smaller organization with no large sources of federal or state funding, Albion Health Care Alliance is making a large impact on those they serve. For example they have a food pantry that serves more than 16,000 times per year. Other programs include: Monthly programs to empower people to live healthier, teaching parents and caregivers how to care for babies and toddlers, connecting people in need with resources. In addition they host 2 annual health fairs to connect residents to local area programs and services!

The Albion Health Care Alliance operates a food pantry and drive-through distribution nearly sixty times a year, feeding local people more than 16,000 times a year. It also connects people with health-related resources through programs and manages a medical center. Because of AHCA, people are fed, healthier, and safer. |
