Nonprofit Feature: Girl Flow

Girl Flow was one of the nonprofit organizations that was in consideration for an IMPACT Grant.  Though they were not the recipient of the March Grant Cycle, our grant committee was very impressed by their organization, their mission, and how much IMPACT they are having paving the way for a more inclusive and open minded World where all women are empowered to "Flow with Confidence, & Dignity"

Anything else you would like to share? We believe that access to free menstrual products is essential for students to maintain dignity during their monthly cycle, enabling them to feel confident in attending and staying at school, knowing they have what they need.

DId you know? In 2021-2022, the Department of Public Instruction offered period product grants to North Carolina schools, but the $250,000 budget was quickly depleted, leaving many Title I schools unsupported. We aim to fill this gap and support schools that did not receive funding or ran out due to high demand. While our focus is providing free menstrual products, we also provide menstrual education through workshops and materials to prepare students for every period.

Thank you to everyone at GIRL FLOW for everything you are doing to make an IMPACT in your community.
