Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue was one of the nonprofit organizations that was in consideration for an IMPACT Grant.  Though they were not the recipient of the November Grant Cycle, our grant committee was very impressed by their organization, their mission, and how much IMPACT they are clearly having on the lives of both human and feline in their community.

What is your Mission Statement? Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue saves neglected, abused, unwanted, and abandoned cats and kittens from local shelters, the majority of them from death row.
Who do you serve? What IMPACT are you making in your community? The rescue serves Douglas County and surrounding communities in west Georgia.  Our progressive spay/neuter and adoption program along with community education and outreach for humane animal treatment and benefits of spay/neuter positively  impacts the community. The adopter receives a healthy pet which is fixed, vaccinated, and chipped that is affordable.

Anything else you would like to share? Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue is a total volunteer nonprofit. Every penny is spent on the care of our cats and kittens, less than five percent is overhead.
In 2022 we saved over four hundred and fifty cats. This year we have already surpassed that number.
